Irene Antich es una artista costarricense nacida en 1984. Se graduó en diseño gráfico antes de dedicarse de lleno a su formación como artista. Su primer encuentro con la pintura figurativa fue en un taller intensivo en la Florence Academy of Art en Italia, donde descubrió cuánto quería dedicarse al arte. Posteriormente completó sus tres años de academia en Barcelona Academy of Art en España, donde actualmente vive y tiene su estudio. Ella continúa trabajando en sus obras además de dar clases de dibujo y pintura. Paralelamente, Irene gestiona un proyecto llamado Paint 2 Help mediante el cual colabora con refugios de animales a través de la pintura. Ha expuesto su obra de forma colectiva en Costa Rica y varios puntos de España, donde fue seleccionada como finalista en el concurso internacional ModPortrait con el que expuso en el Palacio Bantierra de Zaragoza y en el Museo MEAM de Barcelona.

Irene Antich is a Costa Rican artist born in 1984. She graduated in graphic design before devoting herself fully to her training as an artist. Her first encounter with figurative painting was in an intensive workshop in Florence Academy of Art in Italy, where she discovered how much she wanted to dedicate herself to art. Later she completed her three years of academy in Barcelona Academy of Art in Spain, where she currently lives and has her studio. She continues to work on her paintings in addition to teaching drawing and painting classes. Parallel to this, Irene manages a project called Paint 2 Help through which she collaborates with animal shelters through painting. She has exhibited her work collectively in Costa Rica and various parts of Spain, where she was selected as a finalist in the international contest ModPortrait with which she exhibited at the Bantierra Palace in Zaragoza and at the MEAM Museum in Barcelona.
